Chanel decided to give us more red eyeshadows for the upcoming Halloween 2020. Both Chanel eyeshadow palettes 364 Candeur Et Seduction and 362 Candeur Et Provocation are perfect for visual effects makeup artists to create blood and bruises effects.
Red eyeshadows never looked good on me, but it didn’t stop me from buying Chanel quads 364 Candeur Et Seduction and 362 Candeur Et Provocation. The challenge of forcing these colors to work on me made those palettes even more attractive.
As you can see on the swatches chart, Chanel Eyeshadow quad 364 Candeur Et Seduction contains mostly red or brown-red eyeshadows. Except for shimmery dark beige which is an amazing versatile color!
On the other hand, Chanel Eyeshadow 362 Candeur Et Provocation contains 3 pink and red-pink colors. Except for matte yellow-brown color (that I decided to use as eyeliner). Pink colors are easier to make it work for my complexion.
Let’s see what I can do with Chanel Eyeshadow quad 364 Candeur Et Seduction. I would name it “Reds from Hell!’
Chanel Eyeshadow quad 364 Candeur Et Seduction:
- matte purple-red (top left);
- shimmery beige (top right);
- matte red (bottom left);
- matte red-brown (bottom right).
Chanel Eyeshadow 362 Candeur Et Provocation:
- shimmery light pink (top left);
- shimmery intense pink (top right);
- matte purple (bottom left);
- matte yellow-brown (bottom right).
My verdict is: Chanel Eyeshadow 362 Candeur Et Provocation worked better for me. There are at least 2 colors that I can wear for my natural everyday look – light pink and matte yellow-brown. The intense pink can be worn together with a black eyeliner.
Chanel Eyeshadow quad 364 Candeur Et Seduction contains only one color that I can use – the shimmery dark beige. But I can’t keep a $71 palette just for one color!
