Red lipstick and blue eyeshadows create a classic look I can’t resist! Chanel Rouge Allure Ink 208 Metallic Red is intense red matte liquid lip colour with red shimmer. I usually dislike lip stains but I was intrigued by the formula description: ‘A second-skin texture thanks to a fine, melt-away formula composed of a unique wax, ensuring softness, suppleness and a velvety feel’.
I got a sample size from Chanel, so I don’t have the packaging pictures. The full-size product looks like that:
The application is easy with a provided applicator. I was surprised how soft the formula is for a matte lip stain! The texture seems to be nondrying, but I would recommend using a lip balm before you apply Chanel Rouge Allure Ink 208 Metallic Red.
Once the product sets on my lips, Chanel Rouge Allure Ink 208 Metallic Red stays there and doesn’t bleed. Very long-lasting lipstick!
For my eyes, I used Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette 277 Defy: shimmery grey-blue on my lids and shimmery dark blue as eyeliner.
Dior 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette 277 Defy contains five colors: shimmery dark blue (bottom left), dark grey-blue with some shimmer (top left), shimmery blue-grey (top right), matte dark blue (bottom right) and light blue in the middle.
In the shade, Dior Eyeshadows 277 Defy still look intense. Meanwhile, Chanel Rouge Allure Ink 208 Metallic Red turns much darker and dramatic.
