I’m so excited to discover new 2021 Dior lipstick shades! I picked 100 Nude Look and 220 Beige Couture as my everyday nude lipsticks. Also, I discovered an old Dior shade 219 Rose Montaigne which I instantly loved!
Rouge Dior Lipsticks 219 Rose Montaigne, 100 Nude Look and 220 Beige Couture look very similar on the photo but appear to be very different. Rouge Dior lipstick 219 Rose Montaigne (satin) is a peachy pink shade with some fine shimmer. 219 Rose Montaigne belongs to the ‘satin’ category which means it’s more glossy and moisturizing than matte or velvet lipsticks.
As you can see on this swatches chart, Dior lipsticks 219 Rose Montaigne (satin) and 100 Nude Look (matte) look glossier than 220 Beige Couture (velvet). Never the less, all three shades feel soft and are easy to apply.
Here I’m wearing Dior Lipstick 219 Rose Montaigne – a peach nude from heaven! For my eyes, I used Dior Eyeshadow Palette 549 Golden Snow.
Rouge Dior Lipstick 100 Nude Look (matte) is a warm brown peach color without shimmer. Dior lipstick 100 Nude Look belongs to the ‘matte’ category but still feels glossy and non-drying. I did apply a lip balm before using it.
Dior lipstick 100 Nude Look produced an interesting effect on me: it looks nude but still matching my Fuschia sweater.
Dior lipstick 220 Beige Couture (velvet) is a very light cool-toned beige color without shimmer.
Dior lipstick 220 Beige Couture is a very special lipstick. It looks extra matte and drying because it belongs to the ‘velvet’ category. But don’t be scared, 220 Beige Couture still feels soft on the lips.
As you see, Dior lipstick 220 Beige Couture is a very special shade. A very light cool beige lipstick may look quite sophisticated with a smoky eye. Oddly, 220 Beige Couture made my teeth look whiter.
I did enjoy all three shades: 219 Rose Montaigne would work as an everyday nude lipstick, 100 Nude Look is more intense warm nude and 220 Beige Couture is a special occasion sophisticated nude!
