First of all, there’s nothing coral about this shade. It’s terra-cotta! A warm brown-beige nude shade which is hard to find when it comes to lipstick. Second, there’s a very fine gold shimmer which I didn’t notice until I saw the lipstick on sunlight. The shimmer in matte lipstick? Interesting!
Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Mats 218 Coral Remix easily applies straight from the tube. Because it’s a matte shade, I would recommend using a lip balm before applying the lipstick. This is my first time trying YSL matte lipsticks and I don’t have any lips drying feeling during or after wearing it.
218 Coral Remix is a warm nude shade that definitely makes my teeth look whiter. If I want it to be glossier, I just put a lip balm on top.
Nude lipsticks always look great with black nail polish! Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture The Mats 218 Coral Remix goes well with Chanel Le Vernis Longwear Nail Polish 715 Deepness.
For eyeshadows, I used Cle De Peau Bal Masque Eyeshadow Palette and Chanel eyeshadow 906 Vert Lame.
